    I booked a room with an exceptionally comfortable bed, central heating, a private safe, and a fridge. Its mountain view and wonderful staff were the key features! Location: the hotel was close enough to greenery and the bookstore.

    Disappointing aspect was old bathroom.

    Jujo in Matsumoto was unreal! Our twin room with a balcony offered fine mountain views. I loved the private onsen-perfect after a day of exploring. The tasting dinner was a good highlight. Just a heads up, it's a bit far from central spots, but totally worth it!

    Couple's dream stay

    The attention to detail was something else, right down to the private balcony onsen where we kicked back after a long day of hiking. And let me tell you, the handmade snacks provided throughout the hotel were such a welcome treat after exploring, we couldn't believe it.

    It wasn't cheap , but for what we got , I'd say it was worth every penny.

    Great choice for a trip. Unique base for a 2-night stay. Historic building and rooms with comfy beds. A great selection of facilities like a safe box, a refrigerator, and coffee and tea making equipment. What an affable and welcoming staff.
